Definition are a young indie/rock band from Fife, Scotland, building momentum through energetic live shows, original songs, and a growing reputation on the Scottish music scene. Formed by a group of ambitious young musicians, Definition combines driving guitars, melodic hooks, and a raw live energy that feels made for festival stages. Their sound sits in the world of modern indie rock, with big choruses, youthful urgency, and songs written to connect with real audiences.

The band have already played a strong run of live shows, including Silverburn Festival and Anstruther Festival, and have appeared on bills alongside artists including Kyle Falconer, Ben Walker and The Enemy. These early opportunities have helped the band develop their stagecraft, sharpen their original material, and build confidence in front of festival and live music audiences. In 2026, Definition attended La Sierra Casa songwriting camp with Ben Walker, using the experience to further develop their songwriting, live identity and plans for the next stage of the band.

With new original music, growing live experience and a clear ambition to push forward, Definition are now looking to take the next step across festivals, support slots and emerging artist stages throughout Scotland and beyond.
